Having worked at some of the most distinguished and exclusive hotels
and resorts, including the Waldorf Astoria in New York City and a
prestigious mountain resort in Vail, Colorado, and her tenure as an
event planner with a medical communications company in Manhattan,
Tammy has greater than a decade of experience. From the
conceptualization and execution of unique team building and
promotional events to gala dinners and high-society receptions all
over the globe, Tammy brings a holistic approach to event management
while maintaining a keen eye on even the most, minute of details
critical to the success of any occasion, large or small.
Raised in a quaint village on Eastern Long Island, Tammy remained on
the east coast, attending and graduating in 1993 from Johnson &
Wales University in Rhode Island. Throughout her higher education she
was always drawn to the world of hospitality sales and event
management forming her mission to stand out among her peers in that arena.

Her experience dealing with world-renowned doctors and major medical
manufacturers, one of Tammy's unique capabilities is to effortlessly
address the educational spectrum of event coordination along with the
social aspects, prepared her to embark upon and pursue a self-managed
career in social event planning. As Tammy explored a potential focus
on location scouting services, catering to the movies, music videos
and print advertising communities - a quickly evolving industry in
the Hudson Valley where she ultimately made her residence - it was
not until she attended a wedding hosted at a local barn that she had
an epiphany about the direction of her career. She decided her
talents and experience were in perfect synergy to plan the most
important events and productions ever - the launch and celebration of
a couple's life together.
Tammy purchased Charmed Places in June 2004 and has already made her
mark-serving brides looking for untouched venues and handcrafted,
personalized wedding orchestration. With her vision never far from
her mind she is bringing the charmed experience to new levels for
each bride and groom she encounters.
Creating charmed experiences for visionary brides everywhere, Tammy
works from her country office in the Hudson Valley and wherever
weddings may take her on the eastern seaboard. |
