Thank you for the truly incredible job you did for our son’s Bar
Mitzvah. The entire experience exceeded all expectations. From
planning to execution you were professional, available, creative, fun
to work with and even though we came up with some wild ideas,
completely unflappable. We had a vision of something unique and
meaningful that reflected our son and our family. You understood and
really brought it to life!
It is a reflection of your talent and boundless energy that the whole
weekend went off without a hitch. My guests all had a wonderful time.
So many of them noticed how perfectly planned and timed everything
was. All the activities flowed beautifully, there was always
delicious food available and there was something for everyone to get
involved in. They also noticed how friendly and warm you were.
You went above and beyond your obligations to make this an
unforgettable experience for my son, family and friends. We are left

It gives me great pleasure to write this letter and sing your praises!
You assisted my daughter, Lauren and her husband, Joseph with every
facet of their New Year’s Eve 2006 destination wedding at
Troutbeck. By all accounts, the wedding was an “event,” in
every part because the festivities took place over the entire weekend
and included a New Year’s Eve celebration as well as the actual
church ceremony, reception and large rehearsal dinner. There
were endless details prior to and including the Wedding Day. You
smilingly gave so much of your time and energy for over a year to
make sure everything was perfect! You were in constant
communication with the bride and groom every step of the way. No
detail or suggestion was too small or unique to warrant your
undivided attention and enthusiasm, or suggestions from experience.
In addition, you kept a constant eye on budget considerations and
within that framework made appropriate accommodations. No one
letter can do justice to your talent and professionalism.
Because the bride and groom were not always available, due to job
constraints, you made it a point to establish a rapport with
Lauren’s family and made us feel very comfortable and part of a
team. As Mother-Of-The-Bride, I can never thank you enough, because
so many of the abundant details and anxieties would have fallen to me
prior to and during the weekend. I was totally able to become a
guest at the wedding, because we all knew you were there to make sure
everything ran smoothly - and it did. Your professionalism is
something of a ministry in that emotions run high surrounding a
wedding, even when every detail is perfect. You brought tremendous
calm, assurance and capability to every facet of the wedding –
before, during and after. I am forever grateful for all that you have
done and would enthusiastically recommend Charmed Places to any bride
and groom and their families. Best wishes for continued

Hi Tammy,

The wedding was everything we were hoping for and trying to create.
We still get guests commenting and telling us what a fantastic
wedding we had. Everyone - most importantly Seth and I - were floored
by the stunning decor and the gorgeous, warm, cozy and chic
environment we created in our little piece of privacy at Mt. Gulian.
We couldn't have pulled this off without you!
We've recently gotten the pictures back from JT and just love how it
all turned out! Its been such a treat to remember each aspect of the
night. Our guests are still talking about the unique schedule we
created and how everything just flowed seamlessly from one event to
the next. The food was exquisite, the music was great, but most of
all the ambiance was second-to-none!
I know I've already said it a few times in this mail, but none of
this could have been done without you! It was a blessing to have you
on the ground from beginning the planning process, through seeing the
wedding all the way through and staying around to finalize the last
details and organize the cleanup at the end - you took away all of
the stress and allowed Seth and I to focus on our guests and most
importantly, on each other!
We can't thank you enough for all of it and please let us know if we

I stumbled upon Charmed Places while I was reading one of the dozens
of wedding books that I went out and bought when I got engaged. Being
a typical bride-to-be, my wedding had actually been planning itself
in my imagination since I was a little girl. When my fiancé
and I decided to get married in his hometown of Boston, I decided
that I definitely needed a little guidance to make that imaginary
wedding become a reality. Alison Buck met us bright and early on a
Saturday morning with a schedule of five extremely different dream
locations for us to scout out. We went from farms to mansions to old
racetracks, trying to pin down the perfect reception site in one day!
She literally held our hand and walked us through each place, asking
all of the appropriate questions when she felt she was needed and
quietly slipping into the background when she felt that my
fiancé and I needed a little "time." I was
completely amazed at just how beautiful each place was, customized to
fit every "wouldn't-it-be-great-if-we-could-find" comment
that I had made throughout the course of their research. Both Tammy
and Alison went above and beyond in their quest to find us the
perfect spot - the places that no one else knew about, though that
everyone should. The women of charmed places are a class act, patient
when they need to be, aggressive when they should be, and most
